Day 2:Magoki Attori.

Today was the second day of our practice lesson. We came to Labi Hauz to visit the Museum of the History of Carpet Weaving that is inside the Magoki Attori Mosque.

But unfortunately it was cold and maybe that's why it was closed today. But as we have visited last year ,It’s a lovely collection of old rugs with some signs explaining the history of carpet weaving. The building is small but as for me beautiful and for the small entrance fee, it’s worth spending 10 minutes inside. This XII century historical mosque serves now as a carpet museum. It is part of the Labi Hauz. Our practiceteacher told us the history of the mosque:was built on the foundation of a zoroastrian temple and then used as local mosque

. The entrance was completely fill because of sand storms. Another entrance was created as the original one was forgotten. It is not destroyed by the mongols.
